Fishmaster’s Best Catch Contest is back! We know every angler takes pride in showing off their catches so we’re giving you the opportunity to share your best ones for a chance to win great prizes! Preliminary monthly winners will be selected for a prize and our partners at American Fish Taxidermy are offering a free fiberglass replica of the winning catch to the grand prize winner.

Submissions will be considered from May 1 – July 31, 2021. Each month we will choose one finalist who will get their choice of a monthly prize and will be eligible for our grand prize trophy fish replica.

Can’t decide which fish is your best catch? Send them all! We encourage you to send in as many photos of different catches as you’d like. Our only request is that you send separate entries in separate emails.

Tips for Photographing Your Catch

Because they specialize in providing true-to-life replicas, our sponsor American Fish Taxidermy has a few tips for anglers looking to photograph their catch for contest entry:

Be aware of the sun’s position – Even if you have to reposition your boat, try to keep the sun over your shoulder when photographing your fish. This will highlight even the smallest details.
Focus on the fish – The fish should always be the focal point of the photo, not necessarily the fisherman.
Be mindful of your surroundings – The surrounding area can have a big effect on the appearance of the fish in your photo.

You’ll want to be sure too that your photo submissions clearly show your Fishmaster T-Top and represent the Fishmaster brand.

Monthly Winners

At the end of each month a finalist for the grand prize will be selected. These monthly winners will receive a $250 Fishmaster.com shopping spree.

Shopping spree is valid on any Fishmaster product and excludes Mate Series, Rockford Fosgate, WetSounds, Monster Tower, Westland, and Hertz products.

Grand Prize Winner

The grand prize winner of the 2021 Best Catch Contest will get to immortalize their trophy fish with a fiberglass replica created by American Fish Taxidermy, an award-winning fish taxidermy studio. These replicas are cast from perfect specimens and use museum-quality products and techniques to look lifelike down to the detail.

Contest Details & Guidelines

The 2021 Fishmaster Best Catch Contest will be held between May 1, 2021 and July 31, 2021.

The three monthly prize winners will be emailed directly and announced via Facebook on the first Monday of each month. The grand prize winner will be notified and announced on August 9, 2021.

All photo submissions must be received by July 31, 2021 at 11:59pm E.T. to be considered. Please send your photos to bestcatch@fishmaster.com. If you plan to enter multiple submissions, please send the photos and related information in separate emails. Below are some additional guidelines:
