It has just the right amount of shade without impeding casting lanes. The Dauntless has a very wide beam (8') so it gives plenty of room move around the center console.. 2022 Boston Whaler Montauk 170 with a Fishmaster Pro Series Folding T-Top
Built like a tank | "Best aftermarket T-Top on the market. Whaler doesn't offer a factory T-top in the 170 size Montauk, so I had to go custom built or aftermarket. I bought the Pro version specifically because I wanted to have the larger tubing to handle heavy add-ons, and it has delivered 100%. Absolutely zero regrets with the purchase. I know local guys that paid a welder $5K to build a custom folding top, and it wasn't as nice as the FM Pro (for half the price). I'm got 18' Carbon fiber side riggers (double lines each side) on Taco GS-390 bases, and a 15' carbon fiber center rigger on a Taco GS-170 base. If you install the base plates near the center support structure like I did, the t-top can more than handle the load and torque from the riggers. Stop shopping and buy it....worth every penny."

Solid aftermarket T Top at a great price. | "Just got my brand new boat. It took me about a week to install it. But if you are mechanically inclined you can do a lot faster. My Boston Whaler is form filled and has special Phenolic Backing and it took me a bit longer. But overall I think this T top is a great value, excellent quality, and the company has great customer services. "
